Mission Statement
We, at Serenity Counseling LLC, are dedicated professionals committed to providing quality mental health, substance abuse, and sexual wellness services. It is our overall goal to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families. Our belief is that all people are valuable and unique and should be treated with dignity and respect. While recognizing the potential for change, an assessment of the client’s emotional, physical, spiritual, and life experience is provided in a caring environment. The growth of the individual is promoted through a course of treatment developed and executed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Philosophy of Practice
I believe that as human beings we all have the basic needs of connection, respect, empathy, autonomy, and understanding in order to gain knowledge, evolve and to reach a state of complete happiness, health, and wellbeing for every individual and familial system. By empowering, advocating, motivating, and encouraging resilience, I will support the idea of multidimensional collaborative change. By challenging stereotypes, avoiding fallacies, and fighting discrimination, oppression, and injustice, no matter the form, I will be a voice for all who cannot advocate for themselves.
Sharaine Webster,
A clinical social worker working for multidimensional collaborative change through the dedicated protection of all people and familial systems who cannot advocate for themselves no matter their sex, behavior, gender, appearance, ability or circumstance.
